Patricia specializes in the treatment of chronic disease management, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Goal Setting to create change.

I have both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Social Work from McGill University and I am a  registered social worker with more than 20 years of social work experience primarily in health care.


I specialize in the treatment of chronic disease management and have experience counseling individuals who suffer from anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, self esteem, work and family struggles etc.

I utilize a wide range of counseling modalities including cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness based therapy, goal setting to effect behaviour change, brief action planning and narrative therapy.


I draw on individual’s strengths to achieve a solution focused direction that is unique to every person’s experience and reality. I also use therapy techniques to assist individuals in identifying negative thought patterns in order to replace them with more positive constructive thoughts.


I am a passionate professional and I enjoy my work immensely. My approach to therapy is client centered.  I use empathy, compassion, and respect when counseling individuals which highly encourages individuals to feel safe and comfortable to share their life’s journey with you.
